Thin fabrics with thin threads and needles, pinholes will not be too large; thick materials with thick needles to penetrate the fabric, without damaging the needle.

The processing around the pinhole should be very smooth and uniform, and the suture can pass through the pinhole freely. Only this kind of needle will not break when it is used. One of the reasons for frequent thread breakage is caused by pinhole burrs. The inspection method is to thread the thread into the pinhole and let the needle slide freely up and down. There are needle slots on both sides of the pinhole. One is a long groove and a short groove. When the needle passes through the fabric, the free movement of the suture can be guaranteed. Otherwise, the suture will be squeezed on the side of the needle by the sewing material.

Machine needle material quality: inferior machine needle is very soft, the needle is easy to be pulled out of position when sewing, the dislocation of the needle causes the machine needle to directly touch the needle plate, resulting in broken needle.

The needle tip should be smooth, no spikes rust spots, so as to reduce the machine needle cut fabric fiber.
